Pixel width and height stay the same—this is compression control, not a silent resize. JPG remains lossy even at 100, so keep originals when you need a perfect master.
Metadata behavior varies by browser decoder and export path. We do not advertise full EXIF preservation until field-level tests are complete. If photo dates matter for legal or archival work, keep the original HEIC and verify any converted JPG with an EXIF viewer before deleting sources.
